Translation and licensing rights
Bitcoin: The Complete Guide to the World's Most Popular Cryptocurrency is a plain-English account of what money is, how Bitcoin works, where it came from and where it may go, written for a general reader by someone who spent seven years inside the industry. It reached number one in its Amazon category, has sold more than 1,400 copies on Amazon since its launch in October 2024, and has been published in five languages. Rights are licensed one language and one territory at a time.
Why publishers take it
Most Bitcoin books in translation are monetary histories written for readers who are already convinced. This one is the on-ramp: it starts with what money is, explains the machine without assuming any technical background, tells the history straight, and makes no price predictions. It is the book to hand to a colleague, a parent or a customer who keeps asking what Bitcoin actually is.
The author joined Binance in 2018 as one of its early employees, on the Binance Academy team that explained crypto to millions of first-time readers, and went on to work at Gemini, Polygon and Bitget. He lives in Southeast Asia, speaks Indonesian and German, and supports every edition with interviews, events and his own channels. The Indonesian edition from Kompas Gramedia reached Gramedia shelves in September 2026.

How a licence works
- Grant. Exclusive rights in one language for one territory, on a five-year term.
- Translation. The publisher commissions its own translation from the supplied English manuscript and owns it. The author reviews the title, the cover and the glossary of Bitcoin terms.
- Payment. A royalty on the published price, with statements at least annually. Terms on request.
- Materials. Full English manuscript as PDF, a glossary of technical terms, cover files, and the corrected third-edition text with any updates up to the translation deadline.
- Support. Interviews, podcasts, launch events and online promotion in the territory. Travel within Asia and to Europe is practical.
- Precedent. Bhuana Ilmu Populer, an imprint of Gramedia Pustaka Utama (Kompas Gramedia), licensed Indonesian rights in September 2025 and published a 1,500-copy first printing in September 2026.
